My ideal clients are any humans who feels drawn to me and to finding out how much better they could feel. If it feels right, trust that and let’s see how it goes, especially if I was a referral from someone you trust. (Side note: I’m often a good fit for folks who have had less-than-ideal past experiences with therapists and/or coaches.)

Some specific things I really love working with include:

  • Relationship “stuff”: communication, conflict resolution, premarital, re-building trust, new parent challenges, sex, ENM/poly, empty nest, family dynamics (ETC ETC)
  • Separation + Divorce: I am a big fan of helping people divorce well and not be jerks to each other in the process. I can also help you figure out whether divorce is the best next step if you’re not quite there yet.
  • Gender/sexuality/identity questions, when you’re asking: Who am I? What is the most authentic expression of me?  What will it take to get there? What am I afraid of?
  • Career/job change: I am very into figuring out how to make living in a capitalistic society more bearable; the best way to not hate your life is to not hate your job. Joyful work is best, but tolerable work that doesn’t suck your soul is okay too. Let’s look at the options.
  • Life transitions, when you’re asking: What should I do next? Who do I want to be? Where do I want to be? What excites me? How could I be happier?
  • Boundary work, when you’re asking: How can I stop people-pleasing? What do I actually want my life to look like? How can I let people know I want them to treat me differently? How do I stop being passive-aggressive and communicate assertively instead?
  • Men’s issues: detoxifying masculinity, learning to date after divorce, nonviolent communication, (re)discovering your emotional range, not being an a**hole
