I am building new class content all the time, but I do have a few evergreen classes that I offer occasionally, described here. We can all use refreshers on the basics of human communication and relationships from time to time, so even if you’ve attended one in the past, every group session is different.
Use Words: Communication 101
- Practical, real-life strategies for communicating more clearly and confidently
- The art of apologizing (and why it matters)
- How to identify and avoid passive-aggressive behavior
- Learning to name your feelings and ask for what you need
How To Do Conflict Well
- Reframing conflict as a positive, healthy aspect of any relationship
- Learning how to bypass defensiveness in yourself and others
- How to engage in and resolve difficult conversations with kindness and respect (aka how to not be an a**hole when you’re mad)
- 30+ useful tips and tools you can put into practice immediately
Boundaries + People-pleasing
- Defining boundaries: what are they and why are they important
- What happens when we fail in setting boundaries
- Examining your own struggles to establish and maintain boundaries
- Strategies for change
Fine print: All classes are held in a small group format either at my office in the Central West End unless specifically offered in an online format. They are informal, conversational, and interactive to the extent that you want to interact. If you’re more inclined to just sit and absorb, no worries. I won’t make you talk.
