So many people are suffering from a lack of meaningful connection to others. It doesn’t help that the older we get, the harder it may seem to make friends. It’s partly our culture’s focus on hyper-individualism, but there are also fewer “third spaces” available for gathering together, especially as folks move away from organized religion.
Since Sundays are often the only “free” day many working adults have, we hold a secular gathering lovingly referred to as “Not Church” one Sunday each month.
At 10 a.m. on select Sundays, we will gather for coffee, tea, music, and a discussion built around a theme related to the practice of living a healthy, happy life. It’s free to attend for anyone over 18, but there is no childcare available, so please leave your kids at home! Sometimes adults just need to be together. The gathering is informal and registration is not required; this might be ideal for those who aren’t joiners to have the option to just drop in and hang out.
Make sure you’re signed up for our mailing list to find out when these sessions are being held.
